Arillas is a long, sandy beach in the north west corner of Corfu. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches of Corfu and has a central part with sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, restaurants and cafes but if you walk either to the left or to the right you can swim under the cliffs in an almost private beach. In particular the right (northern) corner of the beach is effectively a nudist beach enjoyed by the many naturists who visit the area.
Over the whole length of the beach, the water is shallow making the beach ideal for children to play. Another highlight for the children is the fine sand which is ideal for building castles, dragons and mermaids out of sand!
In the summer there are all kinds of watersports available on Arillas beach, such as water ski, banana, tubes and more. You can also rent a boat to explore the nearby beaches which are only accessible by boat at the island of Gravia, which is inhabited only by goats and seabirds, or the double beach at the pirate bay of Porto Timoni.
The village of Arillas is a quiet holiday resort and a favourite with people coming to Corfu to meditate. There is a wide selection of nice family restaurants, some bars and beach bars and shops.
